What are you teaching your children about our freedom and the difference between respect and having the right to do something? In our house we STAND FOR THE FLAG!
Yes, we have the right to kneel, but is that why our military has fought so hard to keep our freedom? Our freedom does not give us the right to disrespect authority or the flag that represents our great nation. Our freedom has been fought for in many battles and represents our right to liberty, "the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views." (Google, 2020)
Our military has fought so diligently to protect our freedom. Therefore, our house stands out of respect for them.
